I started a blog and website, attended my first workshop, participated in my first internship program, received my first wedding inquiry, survived my first networking event, bought my first prime lens, broke my first lens, shot my first senior session, family session, anniversary session and first wedding, took my first official business trip, trained my first second shooter, refrained from shopping to save for new camera gear(this is for sure a first), met Jose Villa and Jasmine Star(two of my favorite, favorite, favorite wedding photographers) and most likely said something totally random and retarded out of excitement, attended my first Photog Shootout, opened a Facebook and Twitter account(gasp!), placed my first print order, attended WPPI, connected with photographers in other countries online, held my first contest on the blog, photographed a wedding with Eddie, gave away my first prize on the blog… and don’t even get me started on feelings and emotions I felt for the first time throughout the year.
You get the point; two thousand and nine was beyond any doubt filled with lots of learning and ‘first times’ for me.
Working towards starting a photography business has been and still is incredibly challenging, rewarding, intense, exciting, addicting and exactly what I am going to continue doing for as long as I possibly can. So many things have changed from the time I decided to seriously pursue wedding photography and one of those changes is Eddie deciding to join me in this adventure. I’ve always known I had his support, but knowing that he is willing and wanting to take it a step further as my business partner makes it a million times better. We have LOTS to do, plan, organize and SO much to learn but looking through the photos we’ve captured of each other throughout 2009 brings a gigantic, on the verge of cheesy, smile to my face…especially the three photos on the second row with Eddie totally not in my shot…
Enjoy!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and know that I smiled a few hundred times more in 2009 because of your comments. Thank you!!! And I hope we helped bring a smile to your face with these dorky photos of us jumping, hunching, squinting and getting all up in people’s faces!
Have a wonderful day!
